Electric hydraulic rams are available with the Manatee Series and do cost more but are a stand alone unit, so no hoses to worry about or messy plugs to remove from the tractor just a trailer type plug. Saving areas considered Hydraulic cylinder actuation · Saving areas considered are 50% reduction hydraulic cylinders. In hydraulic hosing most likely 70% or more, the Dugong Series has its cylinders placed at the front of the scraper not at the rear or sides. Because of its single hydraulic cylinder and short hose length this results in a reduction in the amount of fluid allowed to move within the oil lines when in normal operation. When the oil is returning to the tank and the cooling system it contains less heat and volume increasing fluid life. |
